As a child I realized I’m a little bit different than most of the people in my surroundings. I was interested in other things and I really couldn’t find my place where I was. I was looking for the reasons why I was here at all, what I am living for and I really wanted to get rid of all sorts of masks, the hypocrisy which was so common everywhere.
I have spent a lot of time alone, I was anxious and afraid that I could never be good enough for anyone or anything in this world if I don’t play a role what is expected from the smaller or bigger communities (family, school, society etc.). I felt that I also had to become a hypocrite to be good enough for the people…
I saw it later there is another possibility as well. You can be yourself, and actually this is the best way to live. But by that time it was already very difficult to return to that „purity” which I remembered I had once inside me. I was lost in my own life…
The above-mentioned and other events have led me in a relative young age to look for a Master, an effective but gentle healing method and a spiritual path. The search lasted approximately for a year until I could find Master Dae Chong in 2004. I began to practise the Usui method with his help. Even at my first attunement I felt like I was home… My internal journey is still going on, every day I learn something new about myself, about life, but a door was opened in 2004 to find my Real-Self again.
In 2008 I was allowed to treat patients and teach the Usui method and I worked as a full-time healer and teacher from 2009 to 2013 in Hungary. Then I moved to Spain where I could start my life working in a family restaurant, but I didn’t leave practising the Usui method.
I’ve been in Japan three times so far and all of these journeys were of decisive importance to me. For the first time in my life I was on Mount Kurama in 2008 and later we were allowed to participate in Hiroshi Doi Sensei’s seminars which, apart from being a lifetime experience, made me also more conscious of myself and my life so far. In 2018, I was able to participate and represent our community in the unveiling ceremony at Mikao Usui O-Sensei’s birthplace in Japan where a memorial stone was erected in his honour.
As a member of the international Usui Spiritual Lernejo Foundation I give treatments exclusively with the Usui Healing Method and I teach at both of our schools (Manbyō no Reiyaku and Usui Dentō Ryū) only the Dentō Reiki (i.e. ‘Traditional Reiki’) practices. This means: I practice, teach and work only with the Japanese Usui Reiki which is free from those changes characterizing the Hayashi-Takata Branch.
Even though I don’t teach Gendai Reiki, I’m grateful and honored to have been able to learn from Hiroshi Doi Sensei in Japan.
Thanks to Doi Sensei’s and Dae Chong Sensei’s work, I experienced the true importance of living the Master-Disciple relationship and preserving the Tradition.
My lineage is:
Mikao Usui – Kanichi Taketomi – Kimiko Koyama – Hiroshi Doi – Seijin
Hungarian is my native language but in my actual everyday life I usually have to communicate in English, German and Spanish. I’m constantly learning these and other foreign languages hoping that I can serve those who are interested, patients or practitioners, also in this way.
If you had any questions about our activities, you can contact me in one of the mentioned languages.
